Infant Specialized Au Pair TrainingTraining highlights include:
The Infant Specialized Au Pair program was designed for au pairs who have specific interest and experience in caring for infants. Infant Specialized au pairs attend a separate training program devoted to baby care and infant development. After matching with a host family you will be scheduled to attend a 5 day hands-on Infant Specialized training program at our Au Pair Academy in New Jersey. You will receive over 40 hours of training in the ‘American Way’ of infant care giving covering topics such as: establishing routines for infants, feeding, bathing, soothing, transportation and general household safety. During your specialized training you will also be taught baby massage and baby sign language by certified instructors to help nurture a baby's healthy growth and encourage language development. Your classroom is set-up like an actual nursery so you and other au pairs can practice care giving skills on infant size dolls to ensure you understand the information being taught to you! Infant Specialized Au Pair training topics Include:
Upon completion of this 5-day hands-on training you will be more confident in understanding a parent’s approach to infant care giving in America.
