Work at AuPairCare

In your home country, we have the following vacancies:

Qualified Representatives

AuPairCare is a division of Intrax, a cultural exchange organisation based in the US that provides young people with the opportunity to experience American culture first-hand by matching them with a host family for whom they work as an au pair for at least one year.

AuPairCare is the premier U.S. provider of au pairs. In 1989, AuPairCare became one of the first agencies designated by the United States Department of State to legally sponsor au pairs to come to the United States. Since then, we've made more than 30,000 successful au pair placements across the U.S. Our au pairs come from over 40 countries and have been fully screened by our overseas representatives. They all have previous childcare experience, speak English, and have a sincere interest in living with an American family. Most importantly, they love children and enjoy spending time with them.

Each year, AuPairCare assists thousands of au pairs and host families in finding each other’s and thus creates an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

AuPairCare’s European office in Berlin is responsible for selecting and guiding European au pairs through their application process.  Part of every au pair’s application is a personal interview with a staff member or a representative.

  • organise and conduct formal/informal information events and presentations to increase the awareness of the US au pair program in your country
  • support candidates with their online application

Our AuPairCare interviewers see themselves largely as volunteers who want to pass along their enthusiasm for cultural exchange. The compensation scheme is based on each individual missions (new leads generation, event, support, interviews…).
