Waking Up in New York

Once you land, our shuttle will take you straight to the hotel, where a welcome activity awaits. It’s a relaxed evening designed to help you settle in, shake off the travel stress, and start getting to know your fellow au pairs.

After a good night’s sleep to recover from jet lag, it's time to explore! On day two, you’ll head out on a guided sightseeing tour of New York City, visiting famous landmarks and soaking up the atmosphere. There’ll be plenty of time for taking photos, grabbing souvenirs, and just enjoying the city. In the evening, you can eat out with your new friends, exchange contact info at the hotel, and maybe even start planning your first weekend trip together. Then it’s off to bed — the next chapter of your adventure starts tomorrow!

After two unforgettable days in New York, it's time to meet your host family. Depending on your placement, you’ll either fly out to them or they’ll pick you up directly at the hotel. One thing’s for sure — they can’t wait to welcome you!
